January 2, 2023: Mt. Orab, OH 45154 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Western Brown Broncos (Mt. Orab, OH) and the visiting Turpin Spartans (Cincinnati, OH), saw Western Brown's basketball squad knock off Turpin by a count of 51-42.
With the victory, Western Brown upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to New Richmond (New Richmond, OH) to play the Lions in a Southern Buckeye - American challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. New Richmond lost 36-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Wyoming (Cincinnati, OH)
Next up, the Spartans play the West Clermont Wolves (Cincinnati, OH) in a Eastern Cincinnati challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Turpin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 12-0 record after their 48-36 non-league win over Ursuline Academy (Cincinnati, OH).
