Alabama High School Basketball - Priceville overwhelmed by Austin
January 2, 2024: Priceville, AL 35603 The Austin Black Bears basketball team scored 89 points and restricted the host Priceville Bulldogs to 36 in the Black Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Black Bears now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decatur for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Austin will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 51-46 non-league win over Danville (Danville, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 12-5.
The Bulldogs (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against West Morgan (Trinity, AL). The Rebels come into the 4A Area 13 contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, West Morgan was routed by Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN), 70-46, in a non-league contest.
