Louisiana High School Basketball - Bastrop holds off Mangham
January 2, 2024: Bastrop, LA 71220 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bastrop Rams (Bastrop, LA) and the visiting Mangham Dragons (Mangham, LA), saw Bastrop's basketball squad hold off Mangham by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Bastrop improves its record to 4-15 on the campaign. The Rams travel to St. Frederick (Monroe, LA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. St. Frederick lost 50-42 in their recent non-league challenge against West Monroe (West Monroe, LA)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Mangham will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Farmers come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 64-56 non-league win over Simsboro (Simsboro, LA).
