January 2, 2024: Gadsden, AL 35901 The Gaston Bulldogs (Gadsden, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Coosa Christian Conquerors (Gadsden, AL), 53-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Fyffe (Fyffe, AL). The Red Devils go into the 2A Area 12 test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Fyffe went down by Section (Section, AL), 61-33, in a non-league test.
The Conquerors now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Gaylesville for a 1A Area 12 test on Friday, January 5. Coosa Christian will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 55-41 non-league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 7-14.
