January 2, 2024: David City, NE 68632 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the David City Scouts (David City, NE) and the visiting East Butler Tigers (Brainard, NE), saw David City's basketball squad wallop East Butler by a tally of 76-34.
With the victory, David City improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Scouts host Milford (Milford, NE) to play the Eagles in a C1 District 5 challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-7.
Next up, the Tigers play the College View Academy Eagles (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. East Butler will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 62-21 non-league loss to St. Francis (Humphrey, NE).
