Oregon High School Basketball - North Salem topped by Eagle Point
January 2, 2024: Salem, OR 97301 The Eagle Point Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host North Salem Vikings to 54 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Eugene for a 5A Midwestern contest on Friday, January 5. Eagle Point will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 66-53 non-league win over North Medford (Medford, OR). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-2.
The Vikings (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against West Salem (Salem, OR). The Titans come into the 6A Central Valley contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, West Salem prevailed over South Medford (Medford, OR), 81-79, in a non-league contest.
