Minnesota High School Basketball - Immanuel Lutheran can't hold off Glenville-Emmons
January 2, 2024: Glenville, MN 56036 The Glenville-Emmons Wolverines basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Immanuel Lutheran Trojans to 72 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host LeRoy-Ostrander for a A Section 1 contest on Thursday, January 4. Glenville-Emmons will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 88-45 non-league loss to Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-6.
The Trojans (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Alden-Conger (Alden, MN). The Knights enter the A Section 2 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Alden-Conger was nudged by Triton (Dodge Center, MN), 79-61, in a non-league contest.
