The Mt. Zion Bulldogs topped the host Hampton Hornets basketball team by a final score of 69-61 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA) in a AAAA Region 5 game, on Friday, January 5. Mt. Zion will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Wolfpack enter the game with a 9-6 record after their 63-40 league loss to Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA).

With the defeat, Hampton moves to 2-10 on the year. The Hornets travel to Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA) to face the Tigers in a AAAA Region 5 game on Friday, January 5.
