Washington High School Basketball - Riverside Christian crushes Highland
January 2, 2024: Yakima, WA 98901 Riverside Christian Crusaders (Yakima, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Highland Scots (Cowiche, WA), 73-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Riverside Christian upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Crusaders host Waterville (Waterville, WA) to play the Shockers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Shockers go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Waterville won 48-33 in their recent non-league bout against Entiat (Entiat, WA)
Next up, the Scots play the Granger Spartans (Granger, WA) in a 2B Eastern Washington - West bout, on Friday, January 5. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 63-49 non-league loss to Cashmere (Cashmere, WA).
