Iowa High School Basketball - Iowa Falls-Alden topped by Roland-Story
January 2, 2024: Story City, IA 50248 The Roland-Story Norsemen basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets to 43 in the Norsemen non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Norsemen now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Hamilton for a Heart of Iowa - Large contest on Friday, January 5. Roland-Story will battle a Hawks team coming off a 66-36 non-league win over Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 9-1.
The Cadets (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA). The Lions come into the North Central contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Clear Lake prevailed over St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA), 72-37, in a league contest.
