Alabama High School Basketball - Oak Mountain overwhelms Moody
January 2, 2024: Moody, AL 35004 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL) and the host Moody Blue Devils (Moody, AL), saw Oak Mountain's basketball squad wallop Moody by a tally of 82-42.
With the victory, Oak Mountain improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host Spain Park (Hoover, AL) to play the Jaguars in a 7A Area 6 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 7-12.
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Leeds Greenwave (Leeds, AL) in a 5A Area 11 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Moody will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 74-30 non-league win over Shelby County (Columbiana, AL).
