January 2, 2024: Simpson, LA 71446 Negreet Indians (Negreet, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Simpson Broncos (Simpson, LA), 85-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Negreet upgrades its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Converse (Converse, LA) to play the Wildcats in a B District 3 bout on Thursday, January 11. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 3-25.
Next up, the Broncos play the Northwood Gators (Lena, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Simpson will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Gators come into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 62-46 non-league win over Oak Hill (Hineston, LA).
