New Jersey High School Basketball - Ocean Township knocked off by Wall Township
January 2, 2024: Wall, NJ 07719 The Wall Township Crimson Knights basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Ocean Township Spartans to 39 in the Crimson Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crimson Knights now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Long Branch for a Shore B - North contest on Friday, January 5. Wall Township will meet a Green Wave team coming off a 57-42 non-league loss to Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ). The Green Wave record now stands at 0-7.
The Spartans (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ). The Garnet Gulls enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Point Pleasant Beach ran past Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ), 63-44, in a league contest.
