January 2, 2024: Jewell, IA 50130 The Southeast Valley Jaguars basketball team (Gowrie, IA), was routed 66-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA)
The Hawks now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roland-Story for a Heart of Iowa - Large battle on Friday, January 5. South Hamilton will battle a Norsemen team coming off a 61-43 non-league win over Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Norsemen record now stands at 9-0.
The Jaguars (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA). The Warriors come into the Twin Lakes battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Alta-Aurelia trounced Whiting (Whiting, IA), 98-10, in a non-league battle.
