Nevada High School Basketball - Basic holds off Silverado
January 2, 2024: Las Vegas, NV 89123 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Basic Wolves (Henderson, NV) and the host Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV), saw Basic's basketball squad hold off Silverado by a tally of 44-39.
With the victory, Basic improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Wolves host Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Dragons in a 4A Desert challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Del Sol lost 68-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley (Las Vegas, NV)
Next up, the Skyhawks confront the Western Warriors (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Mountain challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Silverado will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 54-19 non-league loss to Campbell Hall (North Hollywood, CA).
