January 2, 2024: Bridgeport, CT 06605 The Weston Trojans basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Bassick Lions to 45 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Masuk for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Weston will battle a Panthers team coming off a 69-41 non-league win over Staples (Westport, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.
The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Joel Barlow (Redding, CT). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Joel Barlow ran past Stratford (Stratford, CT), 56-31, in a non-league contest.
