January 2, 2024: Emery, SD 57332 Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD), 53-23 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Rebels host Howard (Howard, SD) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-3. Howard won 64-27 in their recent non-league bout against Menno (Menno, SD)
Next up, the Huskies play the Freeman Flyers (Freeman, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Bridgewater/Emery will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Flyers come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 57-44 league win over Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD).
