January 2, 2024: Cherokee, TX 76832 The Cherokee Indians topped the visiting Cross Plains Buffaloes basketball team by a final score of 39-20 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Indians face the Brookesmith Mustangs (Brookesmith, TX) in a 1A Region III District 17 game, on Friday, January 5. Cherokee will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 7-6 record after their 51-16 non-league loss to Blackwell (Blackwell, TX).
