Ohio High School Basketball - Gilmour Academy fells Notre Dame Academy
January 2, 2024: Toledo, OH 43623 Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Notre Dame Academy Eagles (Toledo, OH), 44-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Gilmour Academy upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Lancers travel to St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 9-0.
Next up, the Eagles play the Magnificat Blue Streaks (Rocky River, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Notre Dame Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 67-52 non-league win over Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN).
