The McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Lawrence-Nelson Raiders (Nelson, NE), 62-11 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Meridian (Daykin, NE). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Meridian walloped Lewiston (Lewiston, NE), 49-6, in a league test.

The Raiders now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Giltner for a D2 District 4 test on Thursday, January 4. Lawrence-Nelson will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 30-20 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, NE). The Hornets record now stands at 3-5.
