January 2, 2024: Logan, IA 51546 The West Monona Spartans basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Logan-Magnolia Panthers to 46 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tekamah-Herman for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. West Monona will battle a Tigers team coming off a 64-48 non-league win over Homer (Homer, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Oakland, IA). The Bulldogs come into the Western Iowa contest with a 5-4 record.
