Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cathedral Phantoms (Los Angeles, CA), 64-11 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Verdugo Hills upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Dons host Arleta (Arleta, CA) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Monday, January 8. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Arleta lost 35-28 in their recent non-league bout against Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA)

Next up, the Phantoms play the Crenshaw Cougars (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
