Georgia High School Basketball - Union County fells Providence Christian Academy
January 2, 2024: Lilburn, GA 30047 Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA), 58-50 in a league bout.
With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers host Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Storm play the East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) in a bout, on Friday, January 5. Providence Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.
