South Dakota High School Basketball - Bon Homme toppled by Alcester-Hudson
January 2, 2025: Alcester, SD 57001 Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Bon Homme Cavaliers (Tyndall, SD), 56-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Alcester-Hudson advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Cubs travel to Avon (Avon, SD) to face the Pirates in a B Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 1-4. Avon lost 66-52 in their recent non-league match against Wagner (Wagner, SD)
The Cavaliers now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parker for a A Region 5 match on Tuesday, January 7. Bon Homme will face a Pheasants squad coming off a 32-22 non-league win over Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 1-6.
