Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Michael-Albertville overwhelms Becker
January 2, 2025: Albertville, MN 55376 The St. Michael-Albertville Knights basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Becker Bulldogs to 50 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Knights now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Moorhead for a AAAA Section 8 game on Saturday, January 4. St. Michael-Albertville will confront a Spuds team coming off a 84-48 non-league win over Shanley (Fargo, ND). The Spuds record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Becker falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 7-2. St. Cloud Cathedral won 68-52 in their recent league game against Melrose (Melrose, MN)
