In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Shekinah Christian Flames basketball team scored a big 69-26 triumph over the Berne Union Rockets.

The Flames (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Columbus International (Columbus, OH). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Columbus International was crushed by Lakewood (Hebron, OH), 48-27, in a non-league battle.

The Rockets now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Millersport for a Mid-State - Cardinal battle on Saturday, January 4. Berne Union will meet a Lakers squad coming off a 63-47 non-league win over Liberty Christian Academy (Pataskala, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 3-6.
