January 2, 2025: Standish, ME 04084 Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME), 48-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bonny Eagle advances its record to 4-5 on the year. The Scots travel to Edward Little (Auburn, ME) to face the Red Eddies in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Red Eddies enter the match with a record of 5-3. Edward Little lost 58-43 in their recent league match against Cheverus (Portland, ME)
The Blue Blazes now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Falmouth for a A South match on Thursday, January 9.
