In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Bronson Eagles basketball team scored a big 88-62 triumph over the Ocala Christian Crusaders.

The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chiefland (Chiefland, FL). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Chiefland smashed Taylor County (Perry, FL), 48-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Crusaders battle the First Assembly Christian Academy Eagles (Ocala, FL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Ocala Christian will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 70-28 non-league loss to Trenton (Trenton, FL).
