The Cathedral Phantoms basketball squad (Los Angeles, CA), was nudged 49-45 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins (Palmdale, CA)

With the victory, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Griffins travel to Trinity Classical Academy (Valencia, CA) to meet the Knights in a Heritage battle on Monday, January 6. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 11-4. Trinity Classical Academy won 69-57 in their recent league battle against St. Monica Academy (Montrose, CA)

The Phantoms now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paraclete for a Camino Real battle on Monday, January 6. Cathedral will meet a Spirits squad coming off a 82-66 non-league loss to St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA). The Spirits record now stands at 5-11.
