Indiana High School Basketball - Pioneer holds off Frankfort

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Pioneer Panthers basketball team scored a close 61-54 triumph over the Frankfort Hot Dogs.

The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Frontier (Chalmers, IN). The Falcons go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Frontier was tipped by Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN), 45-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hot Dogs confront the Lebanon Tigers (Lebanon, IN) in a Sagamore contest, on Friday, January 10. Frankfort will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 56-49 non-league win over Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL).
