Harding Academy Lions (Memphis, TN) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Memphis East Mustangs (Memphis, TN), 61-52 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Harding Academy advances its record to 11-3 on the year. The Lions host Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, TN) to face the Lynx in a Division II-A West District 6 match on Tuesday, January 14. The Lynx enter the match with a record of 7-8.

The Mustangs now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chattanooga Prep for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Memphis East will face a Sentinels squad coming off a 47-46 non-league win over Montgomery Bell Academy (Nashville, TN). The Sentinels record now stands at 12-4.
