January 2, 2025: Huntsville, AL 35801 Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Mars Hill Bible Panthers (Florence, AL), 106-56 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Huntsville advances its record to 19-1 on the year. The Panthers host Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 15-1. Montgomery Academy won 69-62 in their recent non-league match against Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN)
The Panthers now own a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Phil Campbell for a 3A Area 15 match on Friday, January 3. Mars Hill Bible will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 42-36 non-league win over Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-10.
