Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ), 72-68 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Valor Christian upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Thunder in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Thunder enter the match with a record of 9-3. Desert Vista won 77-71 in their recent non-league match against Campbell Hall (North Hollywood, CA)
