New Mexico High School Basketball - Centennial thwarts Silver
January 2, 2025: Las Cruces, NM 88011 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) and the visiting Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM), observed Centennial's basketball team knock off Silver by a score of 50-42.
The Hawks (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record.
In their next game, the Fighting Colts encounter the Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Silver will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 48-11 non-league loss to Silver (Silver City, NM).
