Maryland High School Basketball - Mt. Zion Prep Academy fells Cherokee Trail

The Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Cherokee Trail Cougars to 50 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now have a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Rancho Christian for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Mt. Zion Prep Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 87-51 non-league win over Chatfield (Littleton, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Cherokee Trail falls to 5-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Chatfield (Littleton, CO) to meet the Chargers in a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. The Chargers enter the battle with a record of 2-3. Chatfield lost 87-51 in their recent non-league battle against Rancho Christian (Temecula, CA)
