Nebraska High School Basketball - Cozad victorious over Wilber-Clatonia
January 2, 2025: Wilber, NE 68465 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Cozad Haymakers basketball team scored a good 43-26 triumph over the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines.
The Haymakers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ord (Ord, NE). The Chanticleers go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Ord was toppled by Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE), 50-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wolverines confront the Syracuse Rockets (Syracuse, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Wilber-Clatonia will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Rockets go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 33-30 non-league win over Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE).
