California High School Basketball - Scotts Valley bests Cupertino
January 2, 2025: Cupertino, CA 95014 The Scotts Valley Falcons basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Cupertino Pioneers to 32 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Falcons now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host St. Francis for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Scotts Valley will play a Sharks team coming off a 42-41 non-league win over Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Sharks record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Cupertino drops to 2-5 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA) to face the Bruins in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino match on Saturday, January 4. The Bruins enter the match with a record of 2-6. Santa Clara lost 32-19 in their recent non-league match against Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA)
