January 2, 2025: New Philadelphia, OH 44663 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the New Philadelphia Quakers (New Philadelphia, OH) and the visiting John Glenn Little Muskies (New Concord, OH), observed New Philadelphia's basketball team knock off John Glenn by a score of 53-40.
The Quakers (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lexington (Lexington, OH). The Minutemen come into the Ohio Cardinal challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Lexington prevailed over Ontario (Ontario, OH), 58-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Little Muskies encounter the Crooksville Ceramics (Crooksville, OH) in a Muskingum Valley challenge, on Saturday, January 4. John Glenn will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Ceramics come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 57-9 non-league win over Miller (Corning, OH).
