January 2, 2025: Vergennes, VT 05491 Vergennes Commodores (Vergennes, VT) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Northfield Marauders (Northfield, VT), 81-12 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Vergennes advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Commodores host Mill River (North Clarendon, VT) to face the Minutemen in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Minutemen enter the match with a record of 1-3.
The Marauders now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Twinfield for a CVL match on Tuesday, January 7. Northfield will face a Trojans squad coming off a 57-39 non-league win over Williamstown (Williamstown, VT). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.
