In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Sun Valley Vanguards basketball team scored a big 57-31 triumph over the Renaissance Academy Knights.

The Vanguards (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Academy Park (Sharon Hill, PA). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Academy Park was trounced by Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA), 50-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Renaissance Academy will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record.
