California High School Basketball - Junipero Serra nips Acalanes
January 2, 2025: San Mateo, CA 94403 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Junipero Serra Padres basketball team scored a close 52-46 triumph over the Acalanes Dons.
The Padres (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Crusaders go into the contest with a 4-4 record.
In their next game, the Dons battle the Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Acalanes will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 54-37 league loss to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA).
