The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Taos Tigers to 52 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Eldorado for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Valley will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 73-44 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
