The Mt. Abraham Eagles basketball team (Bristol, VT), was trounced 67-29 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT)

The Slaters (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Vergennes (Vergennes, VT). The Commodores come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Vergennes overwhelmed Spaulding (Barre, VT), 66-44, in a non-league match.

The Eagles now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milton for a Lake match on Wednesday, January 7.
