The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA), observed Fleming's basketball team overcome Heritage by a score of 56-44.

The Colonels (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Appomattox County defeated Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 65-32, in a non-league battle.
