California High School Basketball - San Leandro holds off Foothill
January 2, 2026: Pleasanton, CA 94588 The San Leandro Pirates basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Foothill Falcons to 56 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Berkeley for a game on Tuesday, January 13.
The Falcons (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The Fighting Knights come into the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Hillsdale was nipped by Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA), 36-35, in a non-league outing.
