January 20, 2022: Bayville, NJ 08721 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ) and the visiting Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ), saw Central Regional's basketball squad overcome Barnegat by a tally of 52-42.
With the victory, Central Regional improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ) to play the Rams in a Shore A - South challenge on Friday, January 21. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Southern Regional lost 47-36 in their recent league challenge against Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ)
Next up, the Bengals play the Lakewood Piners (Lakewood, NJ) in a Shore B - South challenge, on Friday, January 21. Barnegat will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
