The Brush Beetdiggers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Wiggins Tigers to 48 in the Beetdiggers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Beetdiggers now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burlington for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 22. Brush will battle a Cougars team coming off a 56-49 league win over Genoa-Hugo/Karval (Hugo, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 1-7.

The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO). The Cougars come into the 2A/1A Lower Platte contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Sedgwick County prevailed over Peetz (Peetz, CO), 57-39, in a non-league contest.
