New Jersey High School Basketball - Cranford topped by Oak Knoll
January 20, 2022: Summit, NJ 07901 The Oak Knoll Royals basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Cranford Cougars to 29 in the Royals non-league win on Thursday.
With the win, Oak Knoll upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Royals host New Providence (New Providence, NJ) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 22. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 9-0. New Providence won 52-47 in their recent non-league bout against Westfield (Westfield, NJ)
Next up, the Cougars play the Roselle Catholic Lions (Roselle, NJ) in a Union County - Valley bout, on Saturday, January 22. Cranford will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 43-40 non-league win over Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ).
