Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL), 44-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mt. Pulaski upgrades its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host LeRoy (LeRoy, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 24. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 8-16. LeRoy won 43-29 in their recent non-league bout against Fisher (Fisher, IL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Peoria Heights Patriots (Peoria Heights, IL) in a bout, on Monday, January 24. Illini Bluffs will attempt to upgrade on its 15-10 season record.
