Louisiana High School Basketball - Berwick holds off St. Edmund
January 20, 2023: Berwick, LA 70342 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Berwick Panthers (Berwick, LA) and the visiting St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA), saw Berwick's basketball squad hold off St. Edmund by a tally of 72-68.

The come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Ascension Episcopal won 74-51 in their recent league challenge against Delcambre (Delcambre, LA)
Next up, the Fighting Blue Jays confront the False River Gators (New Roads, LA) in a 1A District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. St. Edmund will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record.
